1. Preface

Homer Simpson is a simple gag program, what represents the known Homer on your screen from television series "The Simpsons", as he runs after the mouse pointer while eating Donuts and drinking Duff Beer.

The program was tested for Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4 and 2000 up to now. The performance is best on Windows 2000.

Homer Simpson is freeware and may be copied freely to any persons. Have fun! :-)

    4. Tips and Tricks

If you want to equip the program with own pictures please proceed as follows:

    1. Start HOMER.EXE with the parameter "-exportbitmaps"
    2. After this a subdirectory "Bitmaps" will be created with the pictures of Homer Simpson. You can change these files e.g. with Paint.
    3. On the next start, the BMP files of the subdirectory are loaded.
Please note that the pink background color is set to transparency automatically! In order to reconstruct the initial state you only need to delete the subdirectory "Bitmaps".
